Assumption College Awards 617 Degrees at 101st Commencement
On Sunday, May 13, Assumption College awarded 617 degrees during its 101st Commencement exercises held at the DCU Center in downtown Worcester, MA, in which speaker The Most Reverend Robert E. Barron, S.T.D., auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles and evangelist who uses various forms of media, in particular social media, to share the Gospel message and one of the most-followed Catholics on social media, delivered the Commencement address.

Assumption Students Performing in College's Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
Assumption College's Department of Art, Music and Theatre will present a concert-staged performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat from April 20-22. The performance, which will feature the College's Chorale and student actors performing lead roles, will be presented in the College's new state-of-the-art 400-seat Jeanne Y. Curtis Performance Hall of the Tsotsis Family Academic Center.

Lockwood '18 Receives Economics and Global Studies Award for Academic Excellence
Assumption College senior Ashley N. Lockwood has been named the recipient of the 2018 George A. Doyle Merit Award for Excellence in Economics or Global Studies. Lockwood, of Feeding Hills, is a double major in economics and mathematics, with a minor in computer science. Lockwood received her award during a ceremony on March 22.

'An Enemy of the People' cast and crew
Holyoke Community College is proud to recognize the students who have been selected to appear on stage in HCC's Spring 2018 theater production, "An Enemy of the People," as well as those working behind the scene's in technical and production positions. The HCC Theater Department will present the play by Henrik Ibsen April 19-21 at 7:30 in the Leslie Phillips Theater in HCC's Fine & Performing Arts Building, with a matinee performance Sat., April 21, at 2 p.m. The play is directed by Tom Geha with stage design by Matthew Whiton.
